Attempted to upgrade online before arrival to larger room- booking accepted, card charged, confirmation recieved! 3 hour later- hotel declined booking, refund issued by Trip.com
Arrived and requested upgrade- they "allowed"it at a higher rate than i hade paid online, not a good start.
Hotel is geared to $$ Philippinos- not Westerners, No western food in breakfast buffet - eggs only.
Service is variable-room housekeeping is variable- sometimes some towels replace- sometimes all replaced, cups washed one day- not washed another day, one day one cup was taken but not replaced. Yes minor things but when you are mixing travel and business, hard not to get annoyed by mounting little things.
Restaurant service was okay apert from billing- signe docket with room number- manual process at front desk- not auti from the terminal at front of house.
Could not print full folio of charges on checkout- hand written receipt....I bet the Tax office will love that one!
Cant recommend for western travellers, just was not a pleasanr experience to get anything resolved.
Pool was filled by noisy children most of the day from mid morning to late afternoon
Food was okay- large portions generally but their interpretation of a western dish was not a success.
Would suggest Panglao for westerner visitors, better food selection and closer to the airport
